Video Inspection

Video cameras have been one of the most valuable tools in the Septic Industry. Specially made fiber optic cameras allow for a visual inspection of underground septic lines to determine the condition of the pipe. A flexible rod with a high resolution video camera on its tip is inserted into the pipe for inspection. Video images are transmitted to the camera operator and can be viewed on a television like screen. Radio transmitters on the camera record the depth and physical location from the surface.

Video cameras have also been used to locate lost jewelry or other valuables that have become lost or trapped in septic pipes. Video inspection is a very cost-effective method for diagnosing problems within a septic line. By looking inside the line, we’re able to accurately identify and locate any problems such as a broken pipe, root infestation or other problems
